Hmm these would be a lot better with captions so we know what planes they are. Pretty cool still though.

Re: Clarification
Please forgive my little off-joke about 09-11. See, in flight-school you spend a lot of time in "Crabs," airplanes that don't actually fly. Rather, it is so expensive to actually fly a real airplane the FAA and the flight-industry designed a airplane to replicate the conditions of actual flight in real-time. It's called "simulated fight."

To simplify, imagion yourself at 30,000 and your stabilizer falls-off. Bad news for the pilot if he were so high off the ground. The disabled stabilizer would merrily inform anyone in that cockpit (where pilots sit). Bells and whistles let the pilot and co-pilot know they are now without rubber-stabiliztion (the thing that sits-up on the butt of an airplane).

Our local terrorists knew that Florida just had such a machine. They enrolled, and mastered the fine art of running into buildings, without actually running into any buildings. :eek

Since I have flown in Florida, I too know of these machines. I didn't learn the art of belly-floopy into buildings, but rather learned how not to fly into any buildings. 8)
